Cory Silverstein, founder of Silver Art Projects, has founded Chen Gallery, eponymously named after his mother Liana (maiden name Chen), Backal.

Chen Gallery, as denoted on our website’s cover page, is committed to carry on the ethos of Silver Art of giving back and cultivating artist voices in a new age platform; the gallery is committed to selecting narratively focused artists around curated themes who are driven, talented, with a story to tell. It is the gallery’s desire to empower artists to showcase and commercialize their works in regular live salon-style dinners with carefully curated audiences, followed by works shown in large-format exhibitions atop theWorld Trade Center. It is our desire to help form the cultural zeitgeist of today – and for that reason, Chen Gallery will look to be giving to select nonprofits throughout New York.
